The review
Five parts, no spec-sheet copying.
“Range is freedom measured in kilometres. The SR/F has more of it than any other electric here.
Mechanical Breakdown
The SR/F pairs Zero's Z-Force motor with a 17.3 kWh battery in a steel trellis frame, and it is the most mature electric platform on the market. The 2025 update cut prices and added a 6 kW charger as standard with an optional 12 kW Rapid Charge that fills 0 to 95 percent in about an hour. Showa suspension is fully adjustable, and J.Juan calipers grip twin 320 mm discs.
A Bosch six-axis IMU drives cornering ABS and traction control through Zero's Cypher software.
Ride Character
The SR/F is a big, smooth, fast naked. The torque is more measured than the Del Mar's and the weight is 30 kg higher, so it feels like a large sport-tourer rather than a hooligan. Range is the story: around 290 km in the city and 160 on the highway, which makes it the only electric here you could plan a day trip on.
The chassis is stable and the ergonomics are upright and comfortable.
Maintenance Outlook
Belt drive, no oil, no valves. Zero's fifteen-year history means the platform is well understood, and the battery has a five-year unlimited-mileage warranty. Software updates are over the air. Dealer coverage is thin outside North America and Western Europe.
Who It's For
The commuter with a longer highway route, the rider who wants the electric bike with the most range, and anyone who values maturity over excitement in an emerging category.
Jun's Verdict
The SR/F is the electric motorcycle that works as a motorcycle. It is heavy and expensive, but it has the range, the charging, and the track record that the category still mostly lacks. If you need to go further than a city, it is the only serious choice.
